Space Through Our Lens
Opening Night: February 27th 5:00 - 9:00 pm
February 28th 1:00 - 5:00 pm
March 1st 1:00 - 5:00 pm
By evoking the feelings of inspiration and wonder when staring up at the night sky through telescopes, cameras, etc., we explore our Universe through a human perspective, and our ultimate place in space.
TAPS weekend includes special events including telescopes, an Apollo Era special exhibition, designated speaker Alfred McEwen, an astro chiasm cabaret show, and free live music from local bands Daytrails, RUBEE, and Tonight's Sunshine!

Special Apollo Era Exhibit
Come see our special exhibit of Apollo Era art featuring works from Bill Hartmann (Donated from the Planetary Science Institute) and Robert Rauschenberg all weekend long!
"Space Through Our Lens" Speaker
Come see Regents Professor and Principal Investigator of HiRISE Alfred McEwen speak about space through our lens and the incredible artwork and photos that space instruments have produced on Friday 2/27 starting at 6pm.
Night Telescope Viewing
Come join LPL on the mall on the UArizona campus outside Kuiper Space Sciences for a free telescope viewing of Jupiter, Saturn and more!! Telescopes and educational information provided by Associate Professor of Practice Steve Kortenkamp and others!
Live Music Saturday
Live music by local, desert emo band RUBEE Saturday (2/28) from 2:00 - 3:00pm!
Astro Chiasm Cabaret
Hop over to Hotel Congress for an Astro-Art Burlesque show featuring scientists, TAPS artists, and dancers Saturday (2/28) starting at 7:00pm!
